About the Author
Catherine Rayburn-Trobaugh is an educator and author with over 20 years of teaching experience. She holds a BA in English with a Spanish minor and an MA in Literary Criticism. The author of six books, The Lonely Hummingbird is her first children's book, inspired by the hummingbirds that visit her home in the mountains of North Carolina.
