Helping Students Grow Through Literacy
With over 20 years of experience in education, I am passionate about helping students grow into confident, capable learners. I specialize in K–5 reading enrichment and intervention, using personalized, research-based instruction to strengthen foundational literacy skills and foster a lifelong love of reading.
I also provide writing coaching for students of all ages, from elementary learners to graduate students. With a background in teaching composition, creative writing, and academic writing, I tailor each session to meet the unique strengths, goals, and interests of every student. Whether building confidence in early writing or refining advanced academic work, I guide students to communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and authentically.
My teaching approach is engaging, inclusive, and student-centered, designed to spark curiosity, strengthen critical thinking, and build confidence. Through individualized support and meaningful encouragement, I help learners embrace challenges, develop their voice, and discover how strong literacy skills can open doors to lifelong success.
